A few months ago, a subreddit, had Game Stop stocks flying and a lot of people making money in the process. It felt cool yet a few days later a couple of people lost a ton of money from the same stocks too. Speculating might feel cool but it rarely pays off in the long run. Investing, however, getting in and holding for the long term is almost always the better option. Whenever you are doing something, always keep the long term in mind.
Money is a tool and it should be used in such a manner. We shouldn’t get so caught up in making money that we forget the things that matter, the things that truly matter, like loved ones, our health, our wellbeing because when shit hits the fan, there’s only so much money can do for you. It’s a tool, use it accordingly.
Gently recycle or reuse things before you throw them out. On the other hand, be diligent and pay attention because you never know where you might find something amazing. It could even be in the trash.
I don’t think you’d love it if someone kept you waiting for an appointment. Well, then don’t keep people waiting either. Once you’ve set a time for an appointment, stick to it. In fact, show up a few minutes before the set time so you are relaxed and comfortable in the space. When you treat other people’s time with respect, they will treat yours with respect too.
PROMPT: How did you show respect for their time today?
