We might not want to accept it but when we sit back and think about it, it is very true. Everything we have done has led us to the place we are. The decisions we made led us to this spot. If we don’t like where we are, we should consider the decisions we make.

PROMPT: What ways do you practice acceptance?

Here’s one for you: no matter how great you are at the things you do, you will fail, eventually. That isn’t a bad thing. We are human. We fail from time to time. However, we can use the lessons from that failure to build towards the goal. Ok, I tried it this way and it didn’t work, I’ll try it this other way and it just might work which will lead me closer to my goal.

PROMPT: What was your last failure? How did you handle it?

We are really not doing a good job of taking care of this planet. That’s not a good thing. We really have to do better. A good approach is to always do anything with the mindset of leaving things better than you found them. Learn how things currently are and then put in the work to make them a lot better than when you first experienced it. Yes, it’s a lot of work but it is really rewarding work.

PROMPT: What is your reason for leaving things better?

We can read all the amazing books about a subject. We can watch YouTube tutorials. We can go to seminars and workshops but till we actually get into the fray and do it, we are not going to learn as much. To actually experience it, to actually start building our experience of the thing, we have to step to the right. We have to do the thing.

We all have flaws and that’s all good because we are human, we are fallible. However, we can work on getting better by working on those flaws. We have to understand that we won’t fix everything because we can’t be perfect but we can definitely work at being just a little bit better.
