It’s ok to try things that might not work, the keyword being “might”. If you are sure it won’t work, then there’s no point. But if there’s a chance it just might work, go ahead try it. If it does work, amazing. If not, all good, you get to learn something new. Don’t be afraid to try new things that seem not so sure of working.

PROMPT: What was the last thing you tried knowing it might not work?

Ideas are amazing. From ideas, we get to build awesome things so it’s understandable that letting go of ideas can be a difficult thing to do. However, you should get comfortable with letting ideas go from time to time. If there is a good reason why you should let that idea go, then you should. Sure it hurts but if you hold on to it, you are just holding yourself back from getting new and better ideas.

PROMPT: What idea did you have to let go of recently?

We are all different beings and we all like what we like. Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean everyone else loathes it. We should learn to be understanding and accepting of people and what works for them. It doesn’t have to be your cup of tea but you have to be accepting of the person’s thing if you do accept the person.

PROMPT: How do you learn to appreciate things you don’t care for?

When you have a cause you are focused, you are driven and you are inspired to do what you can for that cause. Hopefully, the cause is a positive one because positive or not, once you have a cause, the focus is honed in and you will do what is needed for the cause.

PROMPT: What cause do you support?

I’m lazy and most of my friends know this or at least are tired of hearing me say it. However, what helps me get so much done is that I create to-do lists full of difficult things. The idea is that if it’s on the list, I’ll buckle down and do what needs to be done. If it’s not on the list, it’s most likely not going to get done.
