My dad says something ever so often that sticks. It’s just one word: Onward. It comes at the right time and to me the right time is when things get super difficult and it seems there’s no way to make it through or when a failure has been dealt/experienced or someone you have placed your hopes and possibly even trust in lets you down. Onward. It isn’t easy but it is the logical approach because the only way to get to your goal is to move forward. Keep moving. Onward.

The people you have in your team matter a lot because having the wrong team member can lead to the downfall of the entire team. I’ve mentioned that people usually focus on knocking the weak link in a team however I believe that when you have a team, the cohesion between members should be so solid that trying to find the weak link will be difficult because everyone helps everyone. When you build such a team, trusting the team is a breeze. So to trust your team, you have to put in work and then you can trust that team.

The word brand might seem thrown around a lot these days but it isn’t always for a negative reason. What we have to understand is that we all have tools to build the brands we want and it’s up to you to decide what your brand is and how you are going to rep it. My brand is simple: learning, helping others, and enjoying life. I’m curious to find out what yours is.

We live in a time where it might be difficult to live the life you want on a single source of income so it’s good to have more than one. It’s up to you to decide how many streams of income you want, the amount of work you are wishing to put in but also you know what, it isn’t for everyone. So if you are all good with a single stream of income, then awesome, but if not, consider other things you can do to bring in income. One thing though, understand your net worth isn’t all that life is about.

There are things we can do at any given time. We can wake up at 3 in the morning and get it done, easy. However, there are other things that will take almost everything we have to achieve. In fact, we might have to dig deeper to achieve it. Those are the things I’m talking about there. When you believe you’ve exhausted your tank, take a moment, breathe and then push. It might shock you how much you have left if you just dig deeper.
