Lesson 261: One Word Can Mean Many Things

Lesson 261: One Word Can Mean Many Things
We all know how a word can have many meanings. I recall watching a film and the boss tells one of their underlings to take care of a rival. Well, the underling kills the rival and when the boss asks what happened, the underling said, you told me to take care of them and the boss goes, I said to take care of them not “take care of them”. One phrase but two very different meanings. When you are talking to people, make sure they understand what you are saying.
PROMPT: How do you ensure you understand what they are saying?

Lesson 260: Important > Urgent

Lesson 260: Important > Urgent
Important > Urgent. There are things that might pull your attention and ask you to solve the issue, now, right now but they might not be important at all. It is a good idea to sort things by their level of importance and then work through that list. Sure you might have to delegate some and skip some but you won’t be pulled into doing urgent things when you could be doing important things.
PROMPT: What important things are you working on? What urgent things did you skip to work on the former?
