Confidence is sexy. Here’s the thing about confidence, it builds on itself. So even if you have just a tiny bit of confidence, the more you push forth in a confident state, the more your level of confidence grows. It isn’t even about faking it, it’s about focusing on that tiny thing you can do and then building on it. I can write. Awesome. Well, how can I use my writing to open doors? Maybe I’ll write for companies or people I admire and respect. Build on that and next thing you know, I’m the one everyone is reaching out to when it comes to writing. The level of confidence when I wrote that first article versus my hundredth article will have a stark difference.

That’s the super awesome song by Gabrielle. I really do love it and believe that dreams can come true. However, for the dreams to come true, we have to put in the work needed to make the dream come through. One my thing, it’s a direct relationship between the size of your dream and the amount of work you have to put in. The larger the dream, the more the work. How bad do you want that dream to come true? If you want it bad enough you have to be willing to work hard.

If you dream, make sure it is super huge, supermassive! The dream should scare you. The thing is the scarier your dream, the more work you’ll have to put in. Now, even if you don’t get to that dream, you’ll achieve a lot more than if your dream was mediocre. Dream big. Dream Massive.

If you look at them from a weird angle, they might look like stars but fireflies are not stars. Not at all. When we try to convince ourselves that one thing is something else, or we try to sugar coat things, we are just setting ourselves up to fail. It’s best to just face it straight up and own it. When you call it what it is, you can quickly do what you need to do to correct things.

I said to quit early but I did say you should know the things you can quit on. Here’s the thing though, there are things we just can’t quit on. Sure it might be difficult but what I tell myself is, let’s do what we can today and we can quit tomorrow. When tomorrow comes… rinse and repeat. Keep pushing it to the next tomorrow till it’s done. It works.
