Lessons With A King

We build our habits. If you do something and do it again and do it again, before you know it, it becomes a habit. That means we do create habits. Well, with that in mind, how about creating positive habits. Yeah, they may start out difficult but you can start small and then keep building till that positive habit becomes your norm. It’s beautiful.

PROMPT: What are some positive habits you have?

There are monsters we have to face. They are scary, sure. They are monsters after all but we have to make sure we face them. Face them because you will learn and grow from the process, no matter the outcome. More often than not, you’ll find out that you have no reason to be scared of that monster at all.

PROMPT: What was the last monster you faced?

When we do things we shouldn’t, we usually cop out by saying we didn’t have a choice. Well, we did have a choice but we picked the one we did because it was the easier of the two. Making difficult choices are, well, difficult. However, we should know that in every situation, we have choices.

PROMPT: What was the last choice you made?

I respect standup comics as they do something I’ve never tried: get in front of a bunch of strangers and make them laugh. It’s insane and scary but it looks fun. One thing I do know is that we all have audiences now especially if you have even one follower on your social media. We should share things that show we are kind and understanding. We should know that people that follow us might be dealing with something heavy so we should be thoughtful when sharing things on our social media accounts.

PROMPT: What was your last audience? How was the experience?

We take life so seriously and forget to play. Nope, we should make time to play and we should do it often too. The more we play, the more relaxed we get. The more relaxed we are, the more refreshed we are. The more refreshed we are, the more energized we are. The more energized we are, the more we have fuel in the tank to complete our projects. So, yup, make time to play.
