My love for learning is from my grandmother. Don’t get me wrong, lessons and indeed learning might not be fun but the more you practice, the easier it gets. Reinforcement learning is essential learning by trying and iterating. Try something, learning a way not to do it, adapt, try again, on and on and on. Prompts: What was the last thing you learned? There’s a poem by Keanu Reeves titled “Ode To Happiness”, you can Google it. It’s super sad but it’s super powerful. The premise is, essentially, no matter how bad shit is, it can be worse. I know there are many people that won’t accept this lesson or feel comfortable about it but that’s ok. I do know that when shit happens, it’s easier to handle and to focus on learning the lesson and moving forward because I know well, it could totally be worse. I’m starting something new moving forward by having each lesson have prompts (things to do and/or questions to reflect on). Here are today’s prompts: What’s the worst thing you are experiencing now? Before you quit something, do it 100 times and you will find out that you just might be great at it. Also, make sure you get better just a bit with each iteration. Bit by bit and at number 100, you just might find out you want to keep at it; just like I do and will with Lessons With A King. #LessonsWithAKing

If you are doing anything, you have to make sure you learn the rule, practice so you understand the rules and when you do, you can go ahead and do what you want with that rule. The rules keep you grounded and safe but after having a deep understanding of the rule, it’s up to you to do what you want. #LessonsWithAKing

When you are doing anything, make sure you take a look at it from all angles. Things might appear awesome from one angle but not from another. Also, make sure you get a bird’s eye view because from way up there you can see a lot better and use that knowledge to decide how to move forward. #LessonsWithAKing
