Lesson 60: Get Some Help

I used to suck at this but thankfully, I’m doing a lot better. No matter how awesome you are, it is important to be comfortable with reaching for help when you need it because we can’t do everything alone. Also when you are called on to help, be sure to, as long as you have the capacity and capability too. This means you should understand that people can’t help you every time but it is important you call out for help when you need it. #LessonsWithAKing

Lesson 59: Till You Wash Them, Dirty Dishes Stay Dirty

If you let dirty dishes pile, well, they are not just going to magically become clean. They have to be made clean to become clean. So if you make a mess, it’s on you to clean it up or it will sit there waiting till you do come to clean it up. It is always on you to take responsibility for your messes. #LessonsWithAKing

Lesson 58: Sometimes You Have To Use A Different Door

We might get used to always having access through a certain door. Only to get to the door and oops, it’s closed. Being flexible and adaptable is important in everything we do especially when we get used to things. Knowing where the other door is and being comfortable with using it is important because someday, the one you are used to will be closed and you’ll have no other choice but to use a different door. #LessonsWithAKing

Lesson 57: Create Cool Things With Your Friends

I am lucky I get to create cool things with my friends, my Avengers, all the time. It’s beautiful because I get to learn every time we create something new. The other cool thing is that we all have something we can point to and go “hey, I played a role in bringing that cool thing to life!”. It is an awesome feeling and one I encourage everyone to embrace. It is a wonderful feeling. #LessonsWithAKing

Lesson 56: Be The Light

We have to be the light wherever we are. The world is beautiful, yes, but it also has a lot of darkness in it so whenever we can we should the light within shine through. One way I know works so well is by giving people a reason to smile. We all have the power to do it and we should all do it often. The world needs it. #LessonsWithAKing
