Lesson 70: Active Listening Is Important

We all need to listen more and better too. Active listening is a practice we should all make a part of our lives. When we are having a discussion, we can choose to hear the person talking or actively listen to them. When you actively listen you remain neutral, non-judgmental and patient. Plus you ask questions, reflect back on what they said and ask for clarification if you misunderstood what they said. Also, try to summarise what they said. When you actively listen, you learn more and you make the person speaking feel understood. #LessonsWithAKing

Sharks are majestic and well, super terrifying. In life, we need to know when to let our teeth out. We can’t go around being meek through every circumstance. We need to know when to speak up and when to make sure we get our voices heard. Also, there are times you just need to rip things up. #LessonsWithAKing

Lesson 67: We All Get Irritable From Time To Time

We are human and this means we are emotional beings. There’s nothing wrong with getting irritated from time to time. In fact, there are people that do things just to irritate you. Holding things in will only make them worse. Make sure you let the person irritating you know that they are and then move on. It’s ok if you are irritated, you are human. #LessonsWithAKing

Lesson 66: Find The Best Angle

When you are taking photos, make sure you find the best angle. The best angle, by the way, is the angle that works for you at that moment. Don’t overthink things.
