Lesson 111: Words Shape Your Reality

Lesson 111: Words Shape Your Reality
Even in jest, I don’t think anyone should call themselves “stupid” or “dumb” and that’s because words are super powerful. Whenever we use a word, it sows a seed and the more we use it, the more real it becomes. In essence, do not get shocked if you actually end up acting/being stupid or dumb if you keep calling yourself those things. We should rather be using positive words. We should also be careful with the way we present things because those affect us emotionally and mentally too.
Prompt: What positive words will you use today? #LessonsWithAKing

Lesson 110: Create Your Next Step

Lesson 110: Create Your Next Step
Whenever I write, I try to stop just before some awesome action happens because when I get back, I already know what I’m going to write plus I’m super excited to get back on to continue writing. We should take this approach to everything by making sure when we end a step, it is already propping and prepping us for the next step. It sucks when you stop and you don’t even know what your next step is. Prompt: What is the next step towards your goal? #LessonsWithAKing

Lesson 109: Everything Not Forbidden Is Compulsory

Lesson 109: Everything Not Forbidden Is Compulsory
If you don’t actively make it a thing you won’t do, there will be a reason, a condition, a situation under which you will do that thing. One way is to have things you just “don’t” do. “Don’t” is way more powerful than “can’t”. So a good practice is to make a list of things you won’t do. This makes decision-making super easy because, well, you just don’t do that. The end. Prompt: Write your “Forbidden List”. #LessonsWithAKing

Lesson 108: Hope, But Have No Expectations
If you haven’t seen “Dark” on Netflix,  you are missing out on a great show. Go check it out as soon as you can, it is amazing. Anyway, this lesson comes from a character in the show. “Expectations lead to disappointment. Have hope, not expectations. You might just be surprised, but not disappointed.” – Clausen It’s that simple. Prompt: What do you hope for today? #LessonsWithAKing

Lesson 107: Crave What You Already Own

Lesson 107: Crave What You Already Own
Envy is so filthy. We need to make sure we kill envy in our lives and one way we can do that is by craving the things we already own. It isn’t easy because as human beings we have crazy needs. However, as with anything, with practice, it gets easy. That thing that’s yours is yours sure but learn to crave it and you’ll see envy fade. Prompt: What do you crave that you already own? #LessonsWithAKing
